Katia Joya is a soft, warm and flexible yarn made of wool, polyamide, polyester and viscose.

This yarn is composed by a fluffy uni-colour thread twisted with a fine metallic thread of a different colour. The metallic thread has an elegant sheen that creates little specks and a tweed effect in your winter clothes and complements.

Katia Joya is made of:

• 36% wool
• 33% polyamide
• 27% viscose
• 4% polyester

The wool acts as a thermal regulator and keeps your body temperature steady even on the coldest days; the viscose offers lightness, the polyamide gives resistances to your creations and the polyester provides an elegant and metallic sheen.

You should know that Katia Joya…

• Each ball has 50 grams and 145 metres.
• Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 – 4.5 mm knitting needles or the 3.5 – 4 mm crochet hooks.
• Mount 18 stitches and do 26 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
• We recommend you to hand wash this yarn.
• Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally without hanging out.
• It can be ironned at a low temperature, up to 110ºC.
• To knit a women long sleeve sweater size 42, you will need 7 balls.
