Product description
Mondial Lollypop is a marbled and flashy yarn that changes its colours along the ball creating an original effect.
Its mixture of acrylic fibres, polyamide, virgin wool and mohair makes a soft, light and warm yarn perfect for knitting all kind of winter clothes, complements and home accessories.
You can find different models with different tones along the ball.
Mondial Lollypop is made of:
- 45% PC Microfibre
- 30% PA Microfibre
- 15% Merino virgin wool
- 10% Mohair
Most of the fibres of this yarn are acrylic fibres that provide a greater quality, resistance and durability.
It also has polyamide fibres and virgin wool that offer greater thermal properies that will keep your body temperature steady.
The mohair provides lightness, softness and comfort while wearing.
You should know that Mondial Lollypop…
- Each ball has 100 grams and 280 metres.
- Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 5 – 6 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks.
- Mount 15 stitches and do 22 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square with the 8 mm knitting needles.
- It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC .
- Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally withous hanging out.
- It cannot be ironned.
Amount of balls needed to…
To knit a long sleeve sweater…
- Kids – size 10 years, you will need 200 – 300 gr = 2 - 3 balls approx.
- Adult – size 42, you will need 300 – 400 gr = 3 - 4 balls approx.
- Adult - size 48, you will need 500 – 600 gr = 5 - 6 balls.
With Lollypop you can knit sweaters, scarves, caps, snoods, ponchos, gloves, socks or even cushion covers or little blankets.
